Ntyce Motorsports is your go-to aftermarket shop on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. For 14 years, the shop was known as South Shore Speed & Sound, but change in ownership allowed Andrew Himmelman to expand and grow under the name of Ntyce Motorsports.
Offering aftermarket parts, window tinting, and audio equipment, to diesel truck tuning, custom car builds, and big-rig performance tuning as well as a full service and repair shop; Ntyce is there for anything you need.
MEET THE TEAM:
Owner & Sales
Andrew's background lies in the powerline industry, but he's always been active in the aftermarket automotive community. After 11 years spent working throughout Canada on the powerlines, he decided to move back to his hometown of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia to pursue a career he was passionate about.
In June 2017, Andrew purchased Ntyce Motorsports and began putting his business skills to work. With a history of building and racing Honda's, and a passion for big diesels, Andrew's expertise allowed Ntyce to expand it's clientele from local aftermarket parts sales, to a full service centre, diesel builds, customization, and much more.
His current project is completing his 1995 Honda EG hatch Drag Racing car, and aspires to build a custom SEMA truck in the near future.
Lead Sales & Installations
Burke joined the Ntyce team in June 2017 when Andrew took over ownership. With over 10 years of experience in parts, sales, service and installation, Burke is an asset to the Ntyce team.
After completing the Automotive Service & Repair Program at the Nova Scotia Community College at the Lunenburg Campus, he worked with AutoChoice, O'Regan's Automotive, and Mazda before joining Ntyce.
Burke's passion lies in Honda's, and his current project is building a 2000 Acura 1.6 EL for Time Attack/Street.
Accounts, Marketing & Interlock
Gen grew up outside of Bridgewater, NS before heading to Newfoundland to obtain her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and English. Upon graduating, she began working in marketing for restaurants, before joining the professional hockey world, working in Communications and Marketing for the Winnipeg Jets and Montreal Canadiens.
In 2017, she moved back to Nova Scotia, where she met Andrew, and soon after joined the Ntyce team for marketing and accounting. Gen now also runs the Alcolock Interlock program at Ntyce, and is learning more about the aftermarket automotive industry everyday.
